Final Assignment
Dear Class,
Just to re-iterate about the final:
It is in two parts:
Part One: Document your most recent performance
I want you to draw, sketch your last performance. I'm especially interested to see your drawings that concern your electronics:
a. what your idea was what was working
b. what was working
c. what wasn't working.
d. where you would like to expand, etc
1. I'd like to see an attempt made to draw them like a proper schematic. This will aid in your own reading of schematics for circuits.
2. I'm also interested in seeing you take artistic liberties with this in addition to proper schematics. I would love to see both!!!
3. Turn these in via paper or email before 9 PM on Monday May 12. Late work will not be accepted, as this is part of your final!!!
Part Two: Good sound recordings of material you have created of has been inspired by this class.
This will be material taken to be played/heard at ISEA in Sinagpore this July. (http://www.isea2008.org/page/1/). I am especially interested in audio work. Video work can be recorded as well. We will set up equipment to do both.
- Recording will take place in room 207 from 2:30 to 9 PM
- Recordings can be of any length desired
- Please sign up for a recording time, via the class blog (post it here). Please specify the time of day that you will begin and the time that you will need. For Example: Susie, 3 PM, 15 minutes.
- We will have both sound and video equipment in place for your recording needs.
- If you are recording outside of class, you must you good recording equipment!! Not a phone or a video camera. (If you are in doubt, email me). They must be turned into me on a cd/dvd by 9 PM on Monday May 12. Late work will not be accepted, as this is considered part of your final.
- We will have access to the 207 controlled, in order to allow for uninterrupted recording time. Please sign up for a slot, and be mindful of how long it is going to take you to set up and take down, etc, when considering how much time you will need in 207.
Questions? Email me or request a meeting with me on dead day!
Best of luck to you in this final week!!!

Logisim
Hello everyone. I've posted a link to a program called logisim that is used to make circuits using gates.
Speaking of gates, here are two more links that discuss gates and other electronic related components.
Enjoy!
